Rose List 2008:
Roses, our
continued love for these flowers still flourishes today.
Their capacity to provide fabulous color all summer is unsurpassed.
This year we have gone the extra mile to select roses that are known for
their excellent disease resistance and performance in northwest gardens. Whether
it’s climbing roses, tough rugosas, or hybrid teas for cutting, there are roses
for every need.
You will see “bare
root” roses for sale everywhere, packaged in bags or boxes and put out for sale
to endure the elements with little or no
protection. Here, at Valley Nursery,
we put our bare-root roses directly into soil to give them the best possible
start. This also gives you the
freedom to plant when you are ready.
Available, for your
continuing rose education, are new information
handouts. These handouts will
assist you in selecting your rose by color, fragrance, or use in the landscape.
Of course, we have our popular “How to care for your rose” instruction
sheet. Even though all of our roses
are chosen for their successful performance in your garden, the right care will
take your roses from “just soso” to WOW!
We always welcome your questions.
