Abraham Darby

Abraham Darby produces many, very large, cup-shaped flowers in shades of apricot and yellow, later tinted with pink.

Darcey Bussell

The flowers produce freely and with excellent continuity. When young, their outer petals form a perfect ring, later developing into a beautiful rosette. The color is a deep, rich crimson later developing a tinge of mauve.

Gentle Hermione

A rose with true Old Rose character. Attractive, nicely rounded buds gradually open to shallow cups, with perfectly arranged petals. Their color is a pearly pink, paling to soft blush.

Golden Celebration

Magnificent rich, golden-yellow blooms in the form of giant, full-petalled cups. the glorious Tea fragrance has a deliciously fruity character, with hints of citrus, strawberry and lychee.

Graham Thomas

May be the most famous of all Austin’s, with its yellow apricot color and strong tea fragrance. Can grow to be very tall, bushy and is a “self cleaner” despite its high petal count.

Heritage

The shell pink soft color has now become synonymous with an English rose. May be the most vigorous of them all, and it is often trained as a climber in this country. The heavily petaled flowers have a strong rose fragrance with an undertone of citrus.

Mary Rose

Attractive, loose-petalled blooms with a strong rose pink coloring. The delicious Old Rose scent has hints of honey and almond blossom.

Port Sunlight

The flowers are a wonderful rich shade of apricot, paler at the edges. the petals are arranged to form nicely quartered rosettes. The young bronzy-red folige eventually turns dark green.

Teasing Georgia

The center petals are rich yellow, while the outer ones fade to palest yellow. The growth is strong but graceful. Can also be trained to form an excellent short climber.

Tess of the d'Urbervilles                   

Bright crimson, deeply cupped blooms, with the outer petals eventrually reflexing back. These have a lovely Old Rose fragrance. The growth is vigorous, forming a rounded shrub which may benefit from some summer pruning.

William Shakespeare 2000       

Rich colored bloom is held on a very disease resistant, rounded shrub with excellent repeat flowering power. The blooms are a velvety crimson that change into a deep purple. With a strong old rose fragrance and dark green foliage, William is an eye catcher!

Winchester Cathedral

A lovely white rose, sometimes with the slightest touch of pink at the center. The overall effect is of a mass of flowers held on a bushy shrub, which blooms at regular intervals throughout the season.

Windermere

The free flowering variety will continue to flower until very late in the season. Full cupped flowers are rich cream at first, fading to almost pure white.

Wisley 2008

Perfect shallowly cupped rosettes are held in small clusters. The color is a very pure, soft pink, the outer petals paling a little towards the edge. There is a fresh, fruity fragrance with hints of Tea and raspberry.

Young Lycidas

A sensatioal variety with large flowers that are a mix of very deep magenta, pink and red to outermost petals.
