FILBERTS 

DELTA:  

Immune to Eastern Filbert Blight. Medium sized, tasty nuts, bears large crops.

Pollinate with Yamhill. 

YAMHILL: 

Immune to Eastern filbert Blight. Smaller, more compact tree. 

Small to medium size nuts, quite productive.

Pollinate with Delta.

WALNUTS

English Walnuts-

CHAMPION: 

Medium-large nuts. Good quality and stores well. Rich, flavorful nuts.

Very productive tree; starts bearing in 6 to 7 years.

Reaches about 30 feet. Ripens in early October.

  Easy to crack, thin shells. Self-fertile, but produces heavier

crops when pollinated with another walnut.

LAKE: 

Thin shelled, medium to large nuts with excellent, nutty flavor.

Productive tree to about 30 feet tall. Bears in 4 to 5 years.

crops when pollinated with another walnut.

NORTHERN PRIZE:

Rich flavor. Abundant, tasty nuts. Bears in 5 to 6 years.

Vigorous tree grows to about 20 feet tall. Ripens in late September.

Black Walnuts-

KWIK KROP:

Light colored, mild flavored nuts. Good production.

Bears in 2 to 3 years.  Very easy to shell. Ripens in October.

Nice shade tree, reaching 40 to 50 feet. Self-fertile.

Locate trees carefully, as they can prohibit the growth of some

other plants in the immediate vicinity; and they should not

be planted near horse stables or pastures.
